Your sailing career starts here! If you are a beginner (or have some sailing experience but little formal training), you should enroll in ベーシックセーリング. This course will be the foundation of all your future sailing knowledge.

During ベーシックセーリング, you will challenge the American Sailing Association standard for ベーシックセーリング. This involves demonstrating sailing skills to your instructor and completing a multiple choice test of knowledge. Then the American Sailing Association will issue you the “101” certification seal for your log book.
ベーシックセーリングは、セーリングの世界への大切な第一歩です。コース修了後は、ステラ マリナー ヨットクラブへの入会、素晴らしいセーリングバケーションへの参加、またはベーシックコースタルクルージング、レーシング入門、ベアボートチャーターなど、次のレベルへのステップアップが可能です。
使用艇と受講人数 – We teach on J/24 sailboats which are the most popular one-design keelboats in the world. The J/24 is the sailing equivalent of a Porsche Roadster. It’s fast and sporty and has a great “feel.” It’s a great boat for learning. When you come up against similar sized boats in the harbor, you will also be faster!
We keep our student to instructor ratio at 4 to 1. Sailing is a social sport and you want to sail as a group. More hands make rigging the boat and hoisting the sails boat easier. And this ratio ensures everyone gets enough practice time for each maneuver, plus gets to watch others as they practice commands like “Ready About” & “Hard to Lee!”
コーススケジュール – ベーシックセーリングは3種類のスケジュールでご提供しています。
1週末コース – 1週末の土曜日・日曜日、午前10時から午後6時まで。
2週末コース – 土曜日または日曜日を選択し、2週連続で午前10時から午後6時まで受講。
平日コース – 月曜・火曜日、または木曜・金曜日のいずれかを選択し、午前10時から午後6時まで受講。
日程と時間以外は、すべてのコースで同じ内容を提供しています。
コースのほぼ全時間を屋外および艇上で過ごします。教室に閉じ込めることは一切ありません。ステラ マリナーは、アウトドアと実践的な体験を大切にしています。ご希望の方は、コース前の予習も可能です。ご登録後、コース教材へのリンクをお送りします。また、桟橋に到着した際により準備万端でいられるよう、教育用動画へのリンクもお送りします。
開催場所 – 当スクールは横浜港および周辺海域で指導を行っています。夏には、横浜の美しいスカイラインを背景にセーリングをお楽しみいただけます。素晴らしい写真のためにカメラをお忘れなく。
当スクールのメイン拠点は横浜市中区にあります。受講生の皆様がアクセスしやすいよう、インストラクターと合流できる2か所のミートアップ場所をご用意しています。
横浜 ミートアップ – こちらが当スクールの本拠地であり、横浜港最大のセーリング組織であるステラ マリナー ヨットクラブの拠点です。フリートは横浜マリーナを母港としています。水辺を見渡す美しいデッキ、ピクニックテーブル、芝生、旗竿、ゲーム、テント、BBQ設備など、セーリング前後に新しい仲間とくつろげる充実した環境を整えています。
みなとみらい ミートアップ – Our second meet-up location is in Lower 東京 at the Oculus. This is where you meet one of our instructors who will escort you across the river on the PATH where you will discover huge marinas filled with sailboats. This is NY Harbor’s sailing capital! It’s an easy and short 8 minute walk from the PATH station to the ステラ マリナー ヨットクラブ.
冬季は、カリブ海エリアにて授業を行っております。ベーシック・コースタル・クルージング、ベアボート・チャーター、カタマラン・チャーターなど、より上級のコースにお申し込みいただけます。
受講料と割引 – ベーシック・セーリングの受講料は69,000円です。
以下のグループ割引もご用意しております：
- 2名様 ＝ 5%割引（お一人様あたり3,450円お得）

受講料には、すべての教材、テキスト、ログブック、およびベーシック・セーリング認定証が含まれます。
その他の教育費用は一切かかりません。コース中の飲食費はご自身でご負担ください。また、クラブにてTシャツ、スウェット、キャップなどのグッズをご購入される受講生の方もいらっしゃいます。
コースの日程変更は、開催日の2週間前までお一人様7,500円の変更手数料にて承ります。また、キャンセルも2週間前まで15,000円のキャンセル料にて承ります。開催日の2週間以内の日程変更およびキャンセルはお受けできませんのでご了承ください。
修了式と次のステップ – On the last day of your course, you will participate in the “Medal Ceremony” where you will be presented the ベーシックセーリング medal. And then you will be invited to hang out extra at the yacht club to savor some of the sailing lifestyle. This is the time after sailing and instruction has ended and you sit back on a nice chair, hoist a cold drink and cheers to your experiences. Sailing is a very social sport and you will find that hanging out after sailing is one of the favorite and also best aspects
Also to celebrate your graduation, the ステラ マリナー ヨットクラブ will be sending you 2 FREE tickets & drink coupons (¥8,000 value) to visit the Honorable William Wall on a Tuesday evening. This is ステラ マリナー ヨットクラブ’s floating clubhouse in the harbor which you would have seen while sailing around. Tuesdays are “Members Nights in the Harbor” where MYC members gather with their friends. Attending one of these events will help you celebrate your graduation and also allow you to meet some members of the club.
